Vola Enable

About Us

A community that enables every person to flourish

We work at the intersection of disability rights, migrant integration, and community empowerment. From individual advocacy to large-scale cultural events, everything we do is designed to build an inclusive Ireland where everyone belongs.

Our beginnings

Vola Enable is a Ukrainian-led non-profit organisation based in Dublin, Ireland. Founded by Mila Kulinich and Viktor Kozyrev, we saw a critical gap: people with disabilities from the Ukrainian community needed targeted support to navigate a new country, a new language, and complex systems — all while rebuilding their lives.

Our name reflects our mission. "Vola" comes from the Ukrainian word for freedom and will. "Enable" is what we do: we remove barriers and open doors so people can live with dignity, independence, and joy.

Our purpose

"VOLA ENABLE develops a society that promotes the prosperity of every person."

The values behind our work

Compassion

Every person matters. We meet people where they are with empathy and respect.

Inclusion

True inclusion means removing barriers — physical, social, and attitudinal.

Community

We build bridges between Ukrainian and Irish communities for mutual enrichment.

Empowerment

Not charity but capability. We help people gain skills, confidence, and independence.

Founded by community. Built for community.

Vola Enable was founded by Mila Kulinich and Viktor Kozyrev.
